I found myself participating in a wide variety of physical activities as I grew up, including ballet, soccer, basketball, and even taking a stab at figure skating. Some days were good, and I made all the right plays with my teammates--but some days felt disjointed, where nothing went right. While I always felt the brewing frustration on a bad day and the smooth clarity on a good day, I never understood how to make a bad day into a good day (or stop a good day from slipping into a bad one) until I started fencing. Fencing is a way of living, help me find the consciousness within me and surrounded.
Fencing is a big commitment in all kinds of resources--including time. Time spent at practices, at private lessons, at competitions, traveling, watching and rewatching videos, the list goes on and on. With all this time spent, I've learned valuable lessons that could be applied anywhere in life.
I held a C-rating for a long-time during my fencing journey. I started my C-fencer's blogs back then. C is great and essential - C for Character, Courage to Continue, and Consciousness.
